Vista DHCP problem solved…
October 27th, 2008 Posted in workOk, normally I do not blog about these things anymore, but this has caused a real headache for a long time. I was forced to use static IP addresses. Nothing worked with Vista.
Simply typing this command in an elevated (administrator mode) command window did the trick:
netsh winsock reset catalog
forget about KB928233 (or try it too)

Thanks for this solution. Finaly a tip that makes it work!
The only issue I still have is that I need to run the command again after a reboot. are you familiar with this?
